Hi,

I've recently looked into UDK so that I can create games, and tutorials on it for my own website.
I've easily picked up most of the tools and options and have managed to create a small map with lighting, weapons and vehicles.
My issue is with creating and deleting meshes.
To create meshes currently - I choose a brush type (e.g. Cube), translate and resize it to my needs and then hit CSG Add to actually create it from the builder brush (the red outline) into a proper mesh.

My question is: How can I delete the builder brush? (Pressing "Del" doesn't do anything)

Please Help,

Thanks In Advance,

Joe

To delete the mass that you have created, drag the brush on top of what you want to delete, but instead of hitting CSG add to add mass to it, hit the button to the right, which is CSG subtract. I think this is what you were asking. IDK what you mean when you say the red outline of a surface.

Subtract works for deleting surfaces - however I'm pretty sure that's not what you're supposed to use.
By the red outline, I mean a surface before you've pressed CSG Add (I think it's called the Builder Brush?)
Do you know how to remove this from the screen?

Subtract isnt best way to do that, because when u go to Brush Wireframe mode u can see yellow edges. To delete mass, subtract edges etc select object and press ctrl + x (cut) then click Build Geometry for Visible Levels if u are on Unlit, lit view.

Red outline is called Builder Brush. If u wanna hide click "B" or click small triangle on left, top of viewport then Show and uncheck Builder Brush.
